- Thirdly, they are rich in numerous vitamins such as C, A, K, B2, B3, B-6, folate, not to mention other minerals.
- On the other hand, peaches have antioxidant capabilities, and they are said to have specific compounds that possess anti-cancer effects as well as maintaining healthy skin.
- Pregnant women are usually asked to increase their folic acid intake, and peach got you, due to its composition of high-quality folate.
- Also, it works magic with your digestive, and equally very essential for people that want to lose weight.
Peach and Strawberry Smoothie Ingredients:
As mentioned earlier, this peach strawberry smoothie recipe needs only five ingredients. Namely – frozen peaches, frozen strawberries, frozen banana, Greek yogurt, and orange juice! Sometimes I do add honey, but this is totally optional!
Personally, I like to buy, wash, cut, and freeze my ingredients for this smoothie recipe, as you can see from the photo below! I do this particularly during the summer months when peaches and strawberries are in abundance, ripe and fresh!
On the other hand, you can buy already frozen peaches, bananas, and strawberries in the freezer section of your grocery store. I use these sometimes, and they work perfectly well! It doesn’t matter, really; what matters is that you make this peach and strawberry smoothie!
How to Make Peach Strawberry Smoothie Recipe.

Variations of Peach and Strawberry Smoothie:
- Fortunately, peaches go well with many fruits, especially berries. If you do like strawberries or perhaps do not have them, try using raspberries in this smoothie. Or any other one.
- Nectarines and apricots are in the same family as peaches and easily go well together! For instance, you can substitute a peach with a nectarine in this strawberry smoothie.
- Mango and pineapple are tropical fruits that can make magic with peaches in a smoothie.
- An obvious must-have in a peach and strawberry smoothie is banana. As expected, I used it in this, and it made this peach smooth very creamy. However, if you don’t mind the color at all, you can substitute banana with avocado.
- A ripe avocado will deliver the right amount of creaminess, just like a banana. Additionally, avocado adds the needed healthy fat! Also, important to remember that alongside creaminess, a banana equally adds some sweetness. If you are using avocado instead of a banana, be sure to sweeten it with a bit of honey or maple syrup!
- Finally, cherries seem like a great fruit to add to a peach strawberry smoothie recipe! The options to making your breakfast smoothie phenomenal are endless!
Peach Strawberry Smoothie FAQs:
What fruit flavors go well with peach?
Berries go very well with peaches, as well as nectarines, apricots, plums, bananas, mangoes, etc. Also, cinnamon and nutmeg are great flavors to try!
What are the best fruits to put in a smoothie?
Gladly, you can add any fruit to a smoothie depending on the smoothie you are making. But bananas are almost a must-have in any smoothie! Banana has different purposes in a smoothie; for instance, a banana can sweeten a smoothie, make it creamy, and equally thicken it! In this peach and strawberry smoothie recipe, the banana that I used performed all three jobs!
What should you not mix in a smoothie?
Remember that whatever you add to your smoothie contributes to the overall nutrients of that smoothie! Having said that, do not add sugar to your smoothie. Sadly, sugar is anti-nutrient and has no place in your healthy smoothie! I typically do not add ice to my smoothie because I use frozen fruits!
