Instructions
- Gather the ingredients. Gather all of your ingredients together. Then, grate the garlic and set aside.
- Preheat Oven. Start by turning on your oven to preheat at 400F.
- Prep Salmon. Clean the salmon, pat them dry with paper towels, and place it on a baking dish.

- Combine the Seasonings. Put all the seasoning ingredients – salt, pepper, Knorr, grated garlic, Dijon mustard, and honey, into a bowl. Melt your butter and olive oil in the microwave, then add them to this seasoning bowl. Mix everything well and set it aside.

- Season the Salmon. Use a teaspoon and scoop one teaspoonful of the honey mustard dressing onto each side of the salmon, using your clean hand to rub it on that side. Then, turn the salmon, scoop one teaspoonful on the other side, and rub it in. Ensure that all the salmon is completely coated with the marinade/seasoning. Finally, squeeze some lemon juice on the salmon before baking. Feel free to place the squeezed-out lemon wedges on the baking sheet by the salmon; this adds more flavor while baking. Alternatively, you can use fresh lemon wedges.

- Bake. Place the salmon in the oven to cook. Bake for 10 minutes, and then change the oven setting to broil. Broil for 7 to 10 more minutes or until it’s tan/blackened to your liking. What you are seeing here is just how I wanted it; the key here is to keep your eyes on these salmon! You do not want them to burn.

- Serve. Gently remove the baked salmon from the oven and place it on your serving dish or tray. Garnish with baked lemon wedges or fresh lemon slices, basil leaves, etc. Serve with your favorite sides – we love serving this with fried rice, white rice, and sauteed cabbage. So good!

Notes
When you’re mixing the seasoning/marinade, make sure you taste it and adjust as you wish, adding salt to taste.
I like to put lemon slices/wedges into the baking dish. It adds even more flavors to this already-delish-dish!
Keep an eye on the salmon when broiling; the broil is pretty powerful and can burn things easily.
Note that if you will be cooking fewer salmon your baking time may slightly change.
As you can see, I baked these fish using a “foil baking sheet.” Your outcome may change if you use a non-stick or glass baking sheet. The bottom line is to keep your eyes on salmon and adjust time and temperature if necessary.
Squeeze a little lemon on your salmon before eating.
