- 1 cup monk fruit sweetener
- 1 cup water
- 1 fresh orange (zest + juice)

What You Need Serving the Sparkler:
- San Pellegrino sparkling water (or Belle Vie sparkling water, soda, etc for serving)

- Ice cubes
Instructions
How to Make the Cranberry Syrup:
- Add cranberries, water, monk fruit sweetener, orange zest, orange juice, and a dash of salt to a saucepan.
- Simmer for 8-10 minutes, or until the cranberries burst; gently mash to release more flavor. Do not over mash it.
- Strain and cool the syrup. Reserve pulp for a later use.
- Serve over ice, topped with San Pellegrino.

How to Assemble/Serve & Enjoy Your Cranberry Citrus Sparkler
- Fill glasses halfway with ice, add 2 tablespoons to ¼ cup cranberry syrup, and top with Pellegrino sparkling water, club soda or any other non-alcoholic sparkler.
- Garnish with orange slices and fresh mint, give it a light stir, and serve immediately.

Notes
Do not overcook the fresh cranberries. Once they become too soft and soupy, they are much harder to strain when making the cranberry syrup.
No monk fruit sweetener? No problem. You can still make the cranberry syrup using the same process without any sweetener. Simply sweeten your drink when serving, using a packet of Splenda or your preferred sweetener to taste.
Serve in champagne flutes (if you have those) or mason jars for a rustic touch. LOL, kept it simple and served with what I have.
Garnish with orange slices, mint leaves or rosemary sprigs, sugared or plain cranberries for extra holiday sparkle.
Make the cranberry syrup a day ahead and store in the fridge — it keeps for up to one week.
Use any type of sparkling water you have on hand. Be creative and have fun!
